Floating is required. Depending on skill level, nurses will float to ICU, Cardiac Tele, as well as all Tele units, MedSurg, any every holding area (this could be in the Cath Lab, ER, observation floor, even a hallway) They staff the observation floor 1st, then the other units. Floating would include between Chandler Mercy Gilbert campuses. Notification of campus and unit given 1.5 hrs prior to shift start. Floating to different units mid-shift can happen. Rare to float to another campus within a single shift, but possible. The distance between the 2 campuses is 9 miles. Depending on traffic takes 15 minutes. All interstate. Must clock-out when leaving one campus then clock-in when arrive at the other campus.
***Tele B3A***

Cancellation Policy:Hospital may cancel up to 3 times per contract. Each cancellation could be a full shift or any part of a shift. (Hospital may also pay full hours for a particular shift, in lieu of cancellation).
