# cases: 12 cases per shift on average- can be working on 10-15 cases at a time
Can be working with hospitals from all over.
Required Certifications/License: No certs required – CA RN license required.
Common duties/responsibilities: Facilitate transfers (any patient type) from hospitals within Dignity and outside of Dignity. Will deal with cases after the intake process doing patient assessments vitals, clinical information (patient report). Will find accepting MDs and specialist doctors - have a list of hospitals and services provided and request bed at appropriate facility.
MUST HAVE SKILLS:
MUST have a minimum of 2 years of ICU, ED, or transfer center experience.
MUST have acute care experience.
MUST have Cerner or EPIC experience.
MUST have TeleTracking experience.
MUST have critical care assessment skills, good clinical judgement, be able to follow MUST be professional, have good customer service skills, be able to learn quickly, be able to multitask, be strong in computers - will be utilizing multiple computer applications (Cerner, TeleTracking, Tiger Connect - texting MDs/specialists, all Google apps including multiple chats from within and outside of the hospital)
Will take first time travelers.
Will they be responsible for arranging transfers? Facilitate transfers - get the acceptance of the physician to take the patient.
Any area specific experience required? ICU, ED, or transfer center
Bed Management system: TeleTracking
Do they manage bedding and staffing? Will have to request the bed from bed placement.
EMR: Cerner, Tele tracking, all the google applications.
Manager/Supervisor available? Supervisors and leadership team
Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) Need to be available to be scheduled any day of the week.
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
Holiday Requirements: Must be able to work holidays if there is a need.

Scrub Color/Dress Code: Scrubs - any color as long as clean and professional or Casual - can wear: jeans - no rips, tears or holes, hoodies - if clean and no large writing.
Unit/Department specific orientation: 1 day of general hospital orientation and 3-5 days of orientation in the department. Training may be done on any shift.
Additional Notes: RTO needs to be very limited to none - rarely can accommodate.
