Patient Population (Diagnoses): Wide variety of Adult M/S, no transplants. Units include: Oncology, Endocrine/Renal, Post Surgical, Trauma Med Surg, Rehab, and Orthopedics, Overflow, and Progressive care if prior experience. Rare but possible to go to: PACU holding: Surgical patients awaiting beds or prior to discharge home Post-Partum to care for post-surgical patients holding. Peds unit to take patients 14 years or older. Emergency Department to care for Med-Surg patients waiting for a bed
